Hydration. For your long term colon regularity, you must drink more water! Our bowel must have water to form and move waste through the large intestine to the rectum. If you focus on increasing your intake of fiber foods, and drink more water, your bowels will become more regular.
More exercise. The quality and regularity of exercise you get does have an impact on the regularity of our colon. The bowel is one long muscle, and if we get little or no exercise, it will have to do a lot of work (especially if there isn’t adequate water and fiber). Exercise aids the muscles in the bowel and quickens transit time of feces moving through the large intestine.
