Its ATT Uverse TV
My wife and I have tested out Uverse for roughly a month. Although ATT makes a huge deal about the amount of HD channels it offers, I am like the majority of television enjoyers who not only do not have a high definition TV, but also still use picture-tube-style analog sets. We only hooked up U-verse to the set in our family room. But the ATT Uverse bundles will let you hook up to 3 plus more if you are willing to pay more. The TIVO-like device hooks up to one TV, but the others can get stored shows off it.
I tested the U400 packaged choice, which comes with about 270 non-HD channels and starts at $100 a month. ATT has bundled choices that mix U-verse and Net access, but do not start getting worked up at the idea of unbelievably fst Web surfing. The online access bundled with the ATT Plan is largely the same as ATT’s base package, though upload rates are greater.
ATT installations take 2 to 4 hours, depending on if your house’s wiring should be changed to accommodate U-verse. In our case, technicians had to switch the wiring beneath some of the telephone jacks. Because I have been using regular wiring, I’d not yet attempted a Video on Demand movie, which U-verse includes. This gives you the option to choose from both films and shows from a selection of your stations, including Showtime, and play them on your Television like a VCR.
